⚖️ The Crossroads of Courage
When reflection becomes strategy
They meant well, but their words echoed the noise of urgency, not the rhythm of alignment.
I felt my pulse in my fingertips as I reread every line, every forgotten date.
At first it felt like resistance, maybe even fear, yet something deeper whispered, “Not yet.”
It looked like overthinking, but it was alchemy.
A word I had overlooked, a document I hadn’t seen in months, suddenly became the missing piece. And through it all, my book The Reflector's Path — Becoming Me sat open on my desktop, a reminder of the woman who had already walked through fire and wrote her way out of it.
It stopped looking like fighting and started feeling like remembering.
Courage, I realized, is when your nervous system and your soul finally agree on the same timing.
When I finally submitted my reply and settlement, it wasn’t from panic, it was from peace.
Grace hides in the pause before action.
And courage doesn’t always roar, sometimes it signs a document with trembling hands, but a steady heart.
